TakeCare is a care box family/friends can send to their loved one facing disordered eating.
Includes Introduction Booklet, Personalized Letter, Activity Guide, and Connection Cards.
The website serves as a place to buy the care box, and a way to further educate on the topic of eating disorders.
Each part is designed to prevent isolation, open up conversation, and bring awareness/education to the topic of eating disorders.
Birds are a symbol for care, and messages being delivered, directly related to a care package arriving to one’s door.
They help make a serious topic approachable.
They’re a way for anyone to relate to the characters, and avoid falling into stereotypes of how eating disorders are often seen.
